What the housewives will be up to for season 6

GABRIELLE

In Season 6 Gabrielle will be facing up to her and Carlos niece Ana Solis, who Gabrielle is finding hard to get along with. Gabrielle will have to put her parenting into motion when Ana is questioned by police after sneaking out with the new neighbor's son. She will also have to put history aside when Ana begins an affair with John Rowland, who will be around for atleast two episodes.

LYNETTE

Lynette's unexpected pregnancy tests her family.

MARY-ALICE

Marc Cherry stated in an episode of the online series Ask Desperate Housewives that the November sweeps episode of season six will jump back in time to when Mary Alice was alive, and she will physically appear in the whole episode. This follows the pattern of Desperate Housewives having a very special episode during November sweeps, Such as season three's "Bang", season four's "Something's Coming", and season five's "City on Fire". Obviously, those episodes involve a: hostage situation, tornado, and fire. The pattern of catastrophes will be broken by this episode.

Dannii Minogue wants a Desperate Housewives Role???

Dannii Minogue wants to star in 'Desperate Housewives'. The 'X Factor' judge is keen to revive her acting career and has her sights set on the popular US comedy-drama series about the lives of a group of wealthy female friends. In a bid to break Hollywood, the 37-year-old star - who shot to fame when she appeared in Australian soap 'Home and Away' in the 80s before becoming a pop star - has flown over to Los Angeles for a host of meetings. 

A source said: "She's very excited about breaking America. Dannii would love to get a role in one of their top shows, especially 'Desperate Housewives' or even 'Ugly Betty'. 

"Agents know she is a pop star but thanks to website YouTube, they've seen her on 'X Factor', 'Australia's Got Talent' and her days on 'Home and Away'." 

Dannii - the younger sister of Australian pop star Kylie Minogue - is also expected to meet with 'American Idol' presenter and radio DJ Ryan Seacrest to discuss his production company. 

The source added: "She's even got a meeting lined up with Ryan Seacrest. The pair have one thing in common - Simon Cowell - so no doubt that will help." 

She has also reportedly signed with the William Morris Endeavour celebrity agency - who represent Catherine Zeta-Jones, Charlize Theron, Prince and Matt Damon. 

Dannii's trip has, however, been overshadowed by her 'X Factor' colleague Cheryl Cole - who is also trying to make it big in the US. 

Another source told Britian's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's pure coincidence that she's in Los Angeles at the same time as Cheryl. They are planning to meet for a coffee over there to swap notes."

Episode 1, Season 6

We'll find out who Mike Delfino married.Tom fills in the wives on the new Italian-American family, the Vitales, as he is a real-estate agent. Bree struggles to keep her affair with Karl away from Orson. Lynette's pregnancy is taking a toll on her and the Susan/Mike/Katherine love triangle begins yet another chapter while Ana is pushing the limits with Gabrielle.

Episode 2, Season 6

We'll meet a surly old man named Roy Handler (Orson Bean). He's a steak salesman, and Mrs. McCluskey's love interest! Before he can tell McCluskey he loves her, they discover Julie's unconscious body in the bushes. Mrs. McCluskey considers teling the police she saw Angie's son fighting with Julie. At the hospital, Katherine stops the doctor from running a test with radiation on Julie by revealing that Julie may be pregnant. Susan didn't know this info. When Julie briefly wakes, she sees or hears something that Angie (Drea de Matteo) wishes she hadn't seen. She clearly hopes Julie will think she was dreaming, but the doctor doesn't think that's likely. The police want to question Ana about Angie's 19 year old son, and Gaby learns Ana snuck out to hang out with him at the park. Look for the police to question Angie's son as well.

Episode 3, Season 6

Gabrielle's former gardener boy-toy returns to Wisteria Lane. As Ana learns that Gaby had an affair with John Rowland she sets her sights on him, because he's single now

Jesse Metcalfe makes a second appearance as Gabrielle's ex-boy-toy John Rowland.

Michelle Collins to Meet Up With The Desperate Housewives Producers again.

Former EastEnders star Michelle Collins has landed a second meeting with Desperate Housewives producers, she has revealed.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Walford's Cindy Beale, recently announced that she had auditioned for the hit US show but was yet to secure a part.

Reflecting on the first round of talks, she has now told The Mirror: "All they wanted to talk to me about was Susan Boyle! I had missed Britain's Got Talent because I'd been in LA and I didn't know who they were talking about so they showed me her singing on YouTube! 

"I was sitting there smiling politely but thinking: 'Talk about me. Talk about me!'" 

Collins, who has a 13-year-old daughter named Maia, added that she has since been invited back to Los Angeles for more negotiations. She will fly out after completing work on a play later this summer.

"I wasn't auditioning for a particular part but I asked them why they didn't have a British woman in the show and they told me they had once offered a part to a British actress, who I admire, but she had turned it down," she explained. 

"They've asked me to go back for another meeting when I've finished my current project, so who knows? It would be great to work over there for a while, although I'm not sure I could live there full-time because of Maia and being a single mum, plus I'd miss home."

Collins made her final appearance in Albert Square 11 years ago and has since starred in Sunburn, Two Thousand Acres Of Sky and Rock Rivals

An ex-Eastender auditions for Housewives role

Former 'EastEnders' star Michelle Collins has said that she has auditioned for a part in 'Desperate Housewives'. 

The actress, who played the role of Cindy Beale in the soap, revealed the news on BBC One's 'Breakfast'. 

Collins said: "I've got an American visa now so I've spent quite a bit of time there."


"I went to a casting for Desperate Housewives, but I haven't got it yet," she said.

"As I've told people about it, they're amazed and have been telling me that someone like Cindy from 'EastEnders' would be great for that show. I have to remind them I'm not Cindy, I'm Michelle.

"I'm just doing what a lot of British actors are doing there at the moment - the 'LA thing'. I'd like to think there's been interest in me.

"But I'm a single parent so obviously that would be my biggest consideration before going for anything in America."

Details on The Wedding/s

Desperate Housewives' actresses Teri Hatcher and Dana Delany have been pictured wearing wedding dresses. 

The last season of the hit show ended with James Denton's character Mike Delfino getting married.

When the series returns, viewers will learn whether he tied the knot with Hatcher's alter-ego Susan Mayer or fiancée Katherine Mayfair, played by Delany.

Producers are taking extra precautions to keep the details secret so they've filmed scenes with both Hatcher, 44, and Delany, 53, as brides.

Desperate Housewives Summary

One of ABC's most popular series of the 2004-2005 season, the weekly, hour-long Desperate Housewives took place on Wisteria Lane in an upscale suburban neighborhood. That Wisteria Lane was not as quiet and respectable as it appeared at first glance was brought home forcibly in the opening episode, when housewife Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) committed suicide right in the middle of her comfortable living room. From her vantage point in the great beyond, Mary Alice served as the series' wry, all-knowing narrator, filling the viewer on the various sordid details in the lives of her four best friends. There was divorcée Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), ever-looking for love in all the wrong places and agonizing over the behavior of her daughter, Julie (Andrea Bowen). There was Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), who every day of her life kicked herself over her decision to give up her business career to care for her highly competitive husband, Tom (Doug Savant), and her irritating children. There was Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross), the all-too-perfect, control-freak homemaker who eventually drove her husband, Rex (Steven Culp), to divorce court and her son, Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom), into malevolent misanthropy. And there was ex-model Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria), who despite having married into money and luxury couldn't stop herself from fooling around with teenaged gardener John (Jesse Metcalfe). Though her controlling husband, Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira), was not privy to her infidelity, he had his suspicions that she was less than faithful. Prone to extreme displays of machismo, he took many measures to maintain the marriage. Weaving in and out of the proceedings was the oft-divorced Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan), with whom Susan competed over the affections of supposedly widowed plumber Mike Delfino (James Denton). This Blog is about the ABC show "Desperate Housewives" which its season 6 premiers on the 27th September 2009 @ 9/8c. First of all I would like to welcome you to this blog and I hope you will come to love visting it from time to time. It is the second  blog of Fairy House Blogs Productions. I set it up on the 24rd July 2009. I will be updating it as often as I can when I can with spoilers and Reviews of the new episodes in the up coming season 6. Desperate has been my favourite show since it was started in September 2004.
